In the beginning of time we were created by God. Humans walked with God and were in his presence. They were intimate with God. Humans were close with God. At peace with God. But humanity (in Adam and Eve) made an error, disobeyed, and sinned against their personal and present God. They chose to honor themselves instead of God. They were removed from the physical presence of God. And everything changed. Against its' will, all creation was subjected to God’s curse. (Romans 8:20 nlt) Humans felt distant from God and put themselves and their own selfish desires above pursuing God and love. Darkness was everywhere.
